Christina is a fully licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and Licensed Acupuncturist with the CTCMA of British Columbia, bringing over 10 years of extensive experience in the field. Her comprehensive background includes a diverse range of modalities, such as acupuncture, IMS/dry needling, kinesiology, herbalism, cupping, nutrition, exercise science, athletic injuries, scalp acupuncture, trigger point injection therapy, and kinesiology taping.
Driven by a passion for integrating Western and Eastern healthcare practices, Christina offers a holistic and individualized approach to healing and preventative medicine. She has a special interest in orthopedic acupuncture, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions and injury rehabilitation. Her expertise is further enhanced by advanced training in Dry Needling/IMS and trigger point injections.
Christina holds a four-year Kinesiology degree from McGill University in Montreal and a five-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma (three years of acupuncture studies and two additional years of advanced training) from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. She enriched her education with international experiences, including a semester at Liaoning University in Shenyang, China, where she completed daily hospital rotations specializing in neurology. She also studied Mandarin at Wuhan University through a Canada-China Scholarship in 2016.
Christina treats a wide range of orthopedic disorders, including low back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, shoulder and neck pain, tennis and golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, hip dysfunction, tendonitis, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, muscle strains, and postural imbalances. She also has extensive experience addressing chronic conditions such as migraines and TMJ dysfunction. In addition to orthopedic care, she incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine to support internal health concerns such as digestive issues, stress and anxiety, insomnia, and hormonal imbalances, ensuring a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Outside of her practice, Christina enjoys swimming, hiking with her puppy, learning to play the cello, and planning her next adventure.
